Astrid, a young artist, has turned her back on the world. In a deserted landscape she works on a piece of land art. Days pass by and her loneliness becomes stifling, until she meets the eccentric geologist Emily. Far away from the real world, in a wild and beautiful landscape, they form a deep connection. They fantasize, dream and philosophize carelessly. For a moment their lives seem idyllic.
