Tijdens een onweerachtige zomer schuilen familiegeheimen achter de momenten van rust en dutjes in het huis. Een parelketting klinkt in de stilte, erwtjes vallen op de grond, kleren drogen aan een waslijn en we zien een pleister op een wond. Flarden van momenten leggen langzaamaan de familiedynamieken bloot.

De zusjes Llorah (12) en Amada (10) brengen veel tijd met elkaar door, terwijl de ouders hun eigen zorgen beleven op de achtergrond. Enkele gebeurtenissen tussen Llorah en haar broer, Benjamin (16) vallen op. Hun intieme band is lief en dreigend tegelijk, en net iets anders dan de andere dynamieken in het gezin.

During a stormy summer, family secrets lurk behind moments of rest and naps in the house. A pearl necklace sounds in the silence, peas fall to the ground, clothes dry on a clothesline and we see a band-aid on a wound. Snippets of moments slowly expose the family dynamics.

The sisters Llorah (12) and Amada (10) spend a lot of time together, while the parents experience their own troubles in the background. Some events between Llorah and her brother, Benjamin (16) stand out. Their intimate bond is sweet and menacing at the same time, and slightly different from the other dynamics in the family.
